Here's a photo from this past spring of one of our incredible workshops to train military veterans in farming with heritage breeds. We would love to continue hosting workshops like this one, but it takes $$$ to do so.
Thankfully, The Livestock Conservancy is a finalist in State Farm's Neighborhood Assist grant program, but WE NEED YOUR VOTES!

We have to stay in the top 40 out of 200 finalists to receive a $25,000 grant for this program - your votes make a difference.

Please vote each day through November 4th to help us receive the grant! After the initial sign up (about 2-3 mins), it takes less than a minute each day to vote (using all 10 votes for the day). A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who is helping to keep us in the running for this grant!

P.S.  Regarding privacy concerns, Kim Conyers of State Farm says, "(You) will get reminders only about Neighborhood Assist and after the campaign, the information is deleted.  (You) will not receive any marketing info from SF unless (you) opted to, and we do not share any lists."
And some have chosen to use websites that generate ID's for this purpose.
